We are sad and excited to announce that effective 2-1-2025 all volleyball related activity at The Blue Crab in Slidell will be offered by Spikes Volleyball. This has been such an incredible journey and while we won’t be running the facility anymore we will absolutely still be playing in most leagues and look forward to still seeing everybody often.

This decision has not been easy to make but it is what is truly best for the complex and us as a family. We would love nothing more than to continue living out our dream of owning a beach volleyball complex. But the reality is, we only have 8-10 years to live out these travel ball days with our kids and we don’t want to miss a single one.

These last five years hold some of our most precious memories and accomplishments and we love that we will have all these memories with so many of you forever. We would like to thank every person and business that has supported Pointbreak Volleyball over the past 5 years. Truly. Without you, none of this is possible.

Michael A. Henry, Uncle Mike to our kids, our crutch, our 3rd leg, our sanity….whatever else I could say to describe what you’ve been to us the last 5 years and forever. We will never be able to repay you but I’ll continue to invite you to homemade dinners to try.

Kelli Tassin and the entire Tassin family for being our swiss army knife. My referees, my subs, my last minute bring a whole softball team to fill in for a whole net, ride-or-die entire family, yall are one of a kind and made our job possible so many nights!!

William Whitten, (Corey) thank you for stepping in so often the last year so that we could be on the sidelines for so many of our kids games. Thank you for always lending a hand and keeping the courts looking the way they do. Last year would not have been possible without you.

Our coaches, referees, sponsors, partners and players, especially all of our CAPTAINS! It’s not easy finding 1 reliable human, let alone an entire team for 8 entire weeks. THANK YOU!

Last but not least, Nick DiSanti. Thank you for being open to the idea of continuing the programming at The Blue Crab and keeping beach volleyball in Slidell. Without you I don’t know that we could step away. Thank you for the partnership and support you’ve offered since you came back. Good Luck! We’re excited for Spikes Volleyball’s future.

2025 SPRING LEAGUE with Spikes Volleyball will begin mid-March and registration will open mid-February. Please follow Spikes Volleyball on social media for all the information.
